Full course description
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt for Service and Education Operations (LSSYB-SEO) builds foundational capacity for evidence-based, structured problem solving using the DMAIC framework. Participants gain early proficiency in Lean principles and essential quality improvement concepts to support reliable and efficient processes within an organization. This program equips professionals in education, non-profit, and service-oriented industries with the tools and problem-solving mindset needed to identify process gaps, initiate improvement efforts, and apply foundational LSS tools. By the end of the program, learners will have developed not only the foundation for a real world applicable LSS project but also the capability for participating in larger-scale improvement projects and the shared language of continuous improvement professionals.
LSSYB-SEO is offered as a 3-month asynchronous program targeted at frontline staff, emerging leaders, and administrative personnel. Enrollment includes access to asynchronous learning modules, live online sessions, and a library of LSS tools to apply to real-world problems in learners work environment. Learners can expect to commit approximately 20 hours over the 3-month period.
